OMG, pie!

Cake lovers, I am one of you, but this thread is for people who love pies.

Sweet or savory? And what kind?

Sweet: apple, cherry, pumpkin, strawberry
Savory: I'm American but love British pork pies, and... shepherd's pie counts, that's great.

I'm eating a massive slice of pumpkin pie as I type this.

My favorite pies are peach, apple, and sour cherry, plus occasionally strawberry rhubarb, lemon, and pumpkin. I used to really like mincemeat (the weird, American version without suet or beef), but as I've gotten older it's gotten too sweet for me. I don't know that I've ever had a savory pie, but I'd be down for it if someone else made it. :D

I love pies of pretty much all kinds. Savory pies and pasties need to be much more of a thing in the United States bc they're completely great. Pork pies are just amazing. And sweet pies too. Favorites, I go boysenberry, strawberry rhubarb, banana cream.

I love steak pie! And an Australian meat pie with ketchup on top is so good. I don't eat as many sweet pies, but I'll always go for an apple pie when I get the chance.

sweet: apple, banana, butterscotch, coconut, lemon, chocolate, pumpkin
savory: most kinds of meat but it really depends on the seasoning

Sweet: Apple pie, lemon meringue pie, key lime pie... chocolate pie?
Savoury: I like a nice pork pie too, and shepherd's pie, and you know what? I've also tried a really good steak and kidney pie! But kidney is hard to get right, so that's very dependent on the cook.

I love cherry pies if they are a bit tart. I also love chocolate pies.

I'm not a huge pie fan (unless you count cheesecake, I know some people consider cheesecake to be pie and I loooooove cheesecake) but there's a local place that has apple pie topped with caramel and it's sooooo good. I actually don't even like caramel most of the time but this pie is freaking magical.

Honestly, I don't think I've ever met a pie I didn't like, sweet or savory.

Pumpkin, apple or key lime are definitely high on the list.
Don't have a favorite savory pie, but I like anything meaty and tender.

Steak pie is the best pie. Apple is also acceptable.

I love sweet pies, especially cherry and apple crumb. I'm not a big fan of savory pies. All the ones I've tried have been kinda meh.

I love sweet pies. Though I have to say, I tried making a pecan pie once and it was terrible. Far too sweet and syrupy. And here I was sure I'd like it because I love nuts and have made similar pies only with walnuts in the past. But it was terrible.
