I completely and totally agree with this and could have written it in my sleep. And it's so frustrating how universal the OT3 is. I mean in any other fandom it would be great to see such a popular OT3. But yeah, the Parker/Hardison relationship is amazing on its own and it doesn't *need* anything added to the dynamic, I think it makes the dynamic less interesting, and Eliot works better as a grumpy big brother anyway.

I do actually prefer them as best friends. Much like I also prefer Eleanor as some sort of human surrogate daughter to Michael's newly human dad. I can't ship Michael/Eleanor at all (naturally people will ship anything) whereas canon means I can see why Eleanor/Chidi works, it just doesn't work for me.

I hope you can find your fix of them, OP. Maybe rewatch old seasons? Personally they were always my least favorite part of the show. I didn't like their humor at all.

That's the worst when character are legitimately trying to do something important and other characters are holding back information, only to reveal it later after everything goes wrong! (especially when they blame the character for something they couldn't possibly know) I don't know how many times I've screamed at my television/console something like "that would have been really fucking helpful five minutes ago!"
The worst i've seen (since I'm not familiar with with this show;;) is how Luke Fon Fabre was treated in ToA. I get angry just thinking about it!
