I struggled with this for ages when I was younger worrying I was a bad person/feminists if I liked certain things. This was until I realised a lot of people don't seem to be able to separate "this is genuinely shitty media with universally terrible messages" from "this is fiction and people are allowed to have certain escapisms or fantasies and it doesn't necessarily mean anything about them as a person". There's levels really? And ultimately everything has flaws, plus even if you like the "shitty" stuff I'm too busy trying to enjoy what I enjoy to go into a space dedicated to something I don't like and make myself angry.
