I just went to the middle eastern market and bought some groceries including two big—as in, 10’x24”—fresh from the oven flat yeast breads. On my way to the bus stop there was a homeless guy with a “please buy me something to eat” sign and I gave him one. Wish I’d bought some butter or something to go on it; it’s not bad plain, but it’s still plain whole wheat bread.

That's so kind! Butter, or no, that was very generous of you!

Plain fresh baked bread, though. That's head and shoulders above regular storebought bread, even slathered with butter.
