I'm not really into sports, either. Like, I don't mind them and will watch a few minutes of highlights or some of a game if it is on in a bar or I'm waiting for something else to start. And I tend to watch some of the Olympics and occasionally some of the run-up championships. But I love sports movies, even terrible ones. I think I like the camaraderie, the fact that even if they do include the boring parts of whatever sport, it's only going to be a few minutes, because mostly what they show are the exciting moments, and the fact that I get to know the characters' feelings and motivations.
