Just, why?

I don't care for an over reliance on CGI in general, but for animals, it especially gets to me. They don't move right and they don't look right, to me. If they are briefly in a movie, I can get past it (and I kind of accepted it in Jumanji because, hey, they came out of an evil game), but this is not for me.

And was there really a hankering for another Doctor Dolittle movie?

Also, what the hell is up with that accent?

If anybody can make the best of it, it's RDJ, in my opinion. But it really doesn't seem like a movie with a high chance of being any good.

This looks less entertaining than I thought it would. It's a bit like Downey's Sherlock Holmes gets a zoo or something.
