I mean I just tend to always like the loud yelling ones in shonen so I just gravitated toward him. I think Todoroki is boring, Deku is sweet but pretty one-note and every time his story is put on hold I lose interest, and none of the other kids in the class are developed in a way I'm interested by.

And at least Bakugo isn't a sexist pervert so that's a plus.

Yeah this. If a character fills a certain archetype people are bound to like them, it doesn't really matter why they act that way.
