I'm not sure if I can generate a proper response to this.

I mean. I think what's more disturbing is that young girls are reading this crap and cooing over it. Christ. Meyer went from just shallow, but silly writing to grotesque. ftl

Yeeeeeeah, pretty much.

You should look into

cleolinda's summaries of the books. She quotes long passages, makes funny remarks, and explains a lot of crap in them. She also did the leaked Edward book, Midnight Sun. Edward watching Bella sleep from a rocking chair. :weeps:

The birthing scene was one of several disturbing things in that book. At one point during Bella's pregnancy, Edward pulls Jacob aside and says that he'd rather Bella and Jacob have children. So, he's basically pimping his wife out and all the fangirls are squealing, "THAT IS SO SWEET, OMG!1!!ONE!" Oh, then there's the imprinting scene. >.<
