What is everyone doing this weekend?

I am going to start trying to paint the funkos I am gifting to my sister. Unfortunately, I have never painted anything in my adult life. I'll also be practicing more crochet by making washcloths.

I'm going to be curling up to recover. And watching a Columbus Blue Jackets game on Saturday because I fuckin' love hockey and it's my thing with my bio dad.

I hope your team wins! What are you recovering from, if I may ask?

Working Saturday (and it's going to be ROUGH, we'll be down two people and very busy), Sunday I'll be playing video games all day to play catch up before the next patch hits (Tuesday!). I also should probably start going through my stuff a little bit; I'm moving cross country at the end of January and i want to get rid of a ton of stuff. But I probably won't be doing much sorting tbh. XD

Oh no! Maybe everyone will decide not to go shopping! I hope your Sunday is super relaxing and good to make up for it.

Why do people feel the need to police the emotions of others? I get lectures from people a lot for not having enough emotion. Sorry you are dealing with this. Your emotions are perfectly normal and fine and the ones judging you are the problem.

I've got a cold thanks to my lack of sleep this week. So not planning on doing much. I've ordered pho for dinner tonight. Then going to bed.

Going to sleep a lot. Maybe watch something. Was going to watch AHS season 8, but I'm kind of in the mood for another LOTR rewatch. I often want comfort things when I'm sick. We'll see what I feel like tomorrow.

Oh dang, my niece is sick as well. Tis the season! Hope you feel better.

Once I finish eating, I need to call my ISP because my internet has been going in and out constantly lately and it's driving me nuts. I kept putting it off, hoping that whatever the issue was would magically fix itself because I just really didn't want to deal with them but it's been long enough now that I really need to.

Tonight I want to make a few secrets for next week because I finally have some! And this weekend I'm going to sleep a lot (didn't get much sleep this past week), try to do some writing, catch up on some shows, and maybe start reading something creepy in honor of Halloween.

That sticks. My sister's did that for a while. It always seemed to cut out during the most important shit.

I got to make a few secrets too!

Tomorrow I'm going to this event they always do in my neighborhood the Saturday before Halloween where they block off part of my street and the local businesses give out candy and lots of people wear costumes, etc. I'm interested in taking pictures.
Day after tomorrow I'm going to my favorite local cafe (it'll be less crowded if I wait till then).

We have that too! Called Goblins on Grand. We also have a lot of trunk-and-treats.

Saturday: work as usual. Hopefully some sleep after. Sunday night, my favorite streamer is back from visiting family and we’re gonna play some games and be awesome. It’s been an exhausting week and I’m almost glad he’s been on a hiatus because I can sleep a little more without missing the fun...but I miss the fun. :)

Another person with a cold here so I think I'll be doing very little. Unfortunately my car is getting its MOT tomorrow morning so I will need to leave the flat. I'm dreading it because I didn't need to pay for any repairs (to pass the MOT) last year so I'm half expecting I'm going to need new brake discs or something that runs into several hundred pounds. Just in time for Christmas shopping!

So many colds! I hope your car passes its MOT then!

Putting up Halloween decorations. I was hoping to have them up earlier but I haven't found the time before now.

We got a couple up but we are not super into holiday decorations. Will you be passing out candy?

Trying to fill out an online job application, but this is a very badly designed form. Why the hell do they want to know the full date on which I started high school? How could that ever be relevant information? Also, that was a LONG TIME AGO!

Neighborhood trick-or-treating on Saturday. Gonna pass out candy. Last year I got cleaned out really fast, so bought a bit more candy and will pack it in once i have less than 10 pieces in the bowl so I don't run out in the middle of a group of Kidd like last year. I have a pumpkin I may or may not carve.

I also need to mow the lawn, do laundry, and go to the gym.

Tomorrow I’ll be working a booth at a Halloween carnival and then afterwards my uncle who’s visiting from out of town was gonna pick me up so we could go to dinner, and then we were gonna hang out and catch up on Sunday (we’re each others’ only living blood relatives closer than, idk, 4th cousins or something.). But I have a fucking cold that went from sore throat this morning to mucus factory and aches tonight, so I may just go home and fall over after the carnival. Sigh. My body has rotten timing.
