IDK if there's a way to make this a proper secret, but--

One of the biggest barriers to me writing things is that I can’t fabricate for shit. I’m an excellent describer, and a decent plotter, but as soon as I’m trying to say something convincing about a subject I don’t actually know much about, I’m complete garbage.

As someone who works as a background extra for a living, I am (compared to most people) so fucking qualified to write actor RPF. I could be so realistic and include so much detail and write with so much confidence about what working on a film set is like!

But RPF completely fails to capture my interest. :(

You could always write actor!AU with the fictional characters rather than go with RPF?

Yeah, I might do this. I just have to wait to find a ship that I'm interested in doing AUs for. My main OTP right now is one I don't read any AUs for (except minor canonical alterations).
