Yeah, the pilot really didn't work for me. Giving people a dark and gritty past isn't even a new idea anymore - you need something interesting on top of that.

Agreed. I haven't decided if I'm going to watch more of it. Pilots are usually kind of rough and there's a chance the show will improve, but I won't hold my breath.
