I've been having internet issues off and on over the past couple weeks and finally talked to the ISP this past Friday. The guy I talked to was basically useless, but tonight's the first chance I've had to call them again. First talked to one guy who seemed to be slightly more knowledgable than the first, but still not that helpful, then finally got transferred to a guy who seems to actually know what he's talking about. And it's now been 1.5 hours that I've been on the phone and they're completely baffled as to what to do. I've felt since it first started acting up that the modem was dying and I needed a new one, but they seem to be doing everything possible to avoid just replacing the modem and I don't know why and I'm so freaking frustrated. :(
