This movie was so fucking dark. Not in tone, (although it was weirdly bleak for a silly kids film) but dark as in I couldn't see what the fuck was happening most of the time. Also if this is actually your fav movie of all time and not just of Star Wars, I have to assume you've only ever seen like 6 movies in your life.

Really? I get annoyed by literally dark shows and movies (Hannibal was best watched on a monitor with the brightness turned up) but I thought Rogue One was very clear most of the time. Maybe you saw a badly adjusted version (if the cinema sometimes shows 3D, the 2D showings are often too dark unless they adjust setting, which they often don't.)

The only scenes that were too dark were the rainy night time ones. But I saw it in theater, don’t know about your screen.
