Ugh, same. Nothing annoys me more than when a canon establishes certain rules for the world and then immediately proceeds to either forget or ignore them, or when there's an inconsistency in the rules that's never explained.

Magic systems are usually bad about this in a "magic can do all of these things, but not That One Thing that would actually be important and there's never an explanation given as to why."

Omg, yes, jayzus, how i hate that. Don't suddenly make the demon killing spell kill the demons except for this ONE PARTICULAR DEMON WHO KNOWS WHY!!!!

Stupid.
