There are better, more legitimate ways for a grieving person to find comfort. Psychics and the like don't have altruistic intentions. All they want is your money, and the repulsive aspect comes from them deliberately preying on people who are grieving and hurt. Just because someone finds comfort in something does not mean that something is good or healthy.

People who go to psychics for this sort of thing rarely go one time, either. They're usually repeat clients and psychics ain't cheap.
