Haven’t watched it yet, how is he bi?

the authors of the books says he's "not what anyone would call straight" and then clarified he was aromantic. though amos' whole arc with prax felt like it was leaning that way at least a little bit.

Because he's a fictional character that the authors decided to make bisexual?

No shit Sherlock, I was asking how it was shown in the show.

It's mainly the odd offhand reference in the books, and then the authors clarifying. He doesn't have any romantic interests of any gender in the show IIRC but he eyefucks everyone equally. And makes a reference to cross-dressing, which doesn't necessarily mean he's bi but in pop culture trope language suggests that he is.

Protip: If you're requesting people to help you by providing you with information, maybe you should take the trouble to pose your question clearly. Also, maybe you should refrain from getting salty when your ambiguous phrasing doesn't yield you the specific answers you're looking for, but haven't asked for.

tbf it was pretty obvious what they meant and they received some smarmy responses. either that or it went over 3 people's head which i find kind of surprising and weird.

Seconding the anon above me. It was more like their question was pretty obvious and people were being deliberately obtuse in how they responded.

I suspect a lot of people have been burned by rhetorical questions that really mean, "How the fuck can you come to that conclusion?"

An early scene establishes that he's open and friendly regarding male sex work, just not at that particular time. Late in Season 3, two members of a documentary crew try to seduce him. His response to both suggests that he'd be down with it, if they were not on a job.
