I'm really confused by your sarcasm tildes. I've absolutely had roommates that I've hated and who have hated me, but we paid our bills and stayed out of each other's ways bc that was what we had to do to... you know. Keep living? Roomies being convenient only isn't some new thing.

That was not my implication. My implication is that friends don't ALWAYS stay together, and it's much less common than fandom thinks. I don't know when "exceptions" and "neither extreme is true" stopped existing in you guys' worlds, Jesus.
