I liked them a lot, fwiw. I liked it enough to then go and buy a number of his original works, which I also like (though I avoided the horror because it's not my thing. But his "corn punk" trilogy is cool).

And yes, it was chilling. (I'm kind of surprised this is a secret, but then while I like SW a lot, I don't hang out in fandom spaces).
