Thank you secret maker! Cute art. (Also James could very well be gay but since he's a fictional character I really don't care a hell of a lot.)

I don't think James could be gay because if the writers had meant him to be gay, they absolutely could have been explicit about it. Kids' anime has openly gay comedic villains all the time; it's a trope, and James could very easily have fit that trope with his personality. But he doesn't, because unlike all those other villains he's never shown an interest in another guy at all.
