AYRT - I actually agree with your secret. I think I just don't come across this trope that often in the fiction I consume (I have yet to get into any sort of anime). But yeah, when it's extreme like this, I do agree with you.

It's just, some people take a kind of holier than though, moral stance towards the fact that they cook healthy, well-balanced meals every day. Like, good for them for doing that, but I'm thin, moderately fit, and my cholesterol is well in check, so they can do them and I'll do me. I'll continue attempting to supplement my half-can of sodium-packed seafood chowder with a fuckton of mixed greens straight out of the bag.

Frozen peas are at least as good an “oh god how long has it been since I’ve eaten a green vegetable?” lifesaver than mixed greens. Especially because they keep longer.

Yeah, I used to turn to frozen peas a lot! But now that I have more money than I have freezer space, I turn to mixed greens more often.
