(Anonymous) 2008-10-29 04:52 am (UTC)(link)In Scenario A, MC confesses to having had an eating disorder. In this case, you should feel sorry for her suffering, not indignant because she just decided to do it for the hell of it.
In Scenario B, her quote about "starving herself" to get thin is an exaggeration that has been taken out of context, and she didn't actually mean she literally starved herself. It's akin to when someone works an hour overtime and whines about having to work all night long. Let's see your source.
In either scenario, you're overreacting.
