It's odd that Transmet feels so utopian now. The villains are competent and the good guys win. How unrealistic is that?

Yeah. A lot of media that I consumed to deal with the Bush era feels that way now. So...hopeful. Like we had no idea how absolutely bad things could get.

I remember especially hating the film version of V for Vendetta for its implication that The People would rise up if they found out the government had done something bad.
