Great, another animated movie where a person of color spends most of their time inhuman (looking at you Princess and the Frog and Brother Bear)

?? Is this really even a thing? Like is there anything people won't try to blow out of proportion to the point it's completely ridiculous?

More than one of my friends (who don't know each other) have gotten angry about this particular movie and the "trend" even though they've never talked about it before and they usually don't examine things under a microscope to find ways to read them as problematic. It's very odd.
