I loved that it was again focused on the sibling/family bond instead on romantic love (yes we got the end i know)

kristoffs song was hilariously funny!

Gonna keep it vague, but yes, I saw it and totally loved it! I really want to see it again. I loved Elsa’s songs. Kristoff’s song made me laugh.

I haven't seen it yet, but it looks boring. I've heard some other people praising Kristoff's song so maybe I'll end up watching it just because of that though.

Going to have to wait until it is on dvd most likely. No idea when I'm going to be allowed to drive again, and no one I know wants to see it.

There were certainly more songs than in the first one, but I honestly can't remember most of them now, a day after seeing it. I just remember "That was a part where they had a song..." I remember a bit of The Next Right Thing and Olaf's song about everything making sense when you're older, but can't remember the melodies. I actually walked out of the theater with How Far I'll Go from Moana running through my head.

I liked it but I felt more aware that I was watching a movie aimed at little kids than I did with the first one.

Not yet, but my dad and I are planning to go see it tomorrow. I'm really looking forward to it, as I love both Kristen Bell and Idina Menzel! I'm so used to seeing KBell as Eleanor from The Good Place now, though, that I wonder if it'll be weird hearing her voice saying/singing so many very un-Eleanor things. I mean, it's definitely weird for me when I watch Reefer Madness: The Musical nowadays.

I think most people go to Marvel movies for the spectacle now. Big fight scenes, dramatic music, expensive special effects - that's why the audience is there. That's why relatively few people complain about the wooden acting, inconsistent characterisation, and stupid plots. As long as the lights are shiny and the CG is smooth, they don't care.

In my opinion, Scifi/fantasy combos are the absolute best of both worlds. You get the magic, exploration of different cultures, and mythic or historical feel of fantasy along with the grand and epic scale of scifi. Honestly I think I'd like more scifi if it was less hard scifi and more fantasy-like. Because the universe-scale is something I'm very drawn to, but I'm just not interested in technology details and such. But fantasy sometimes feels too small.

I feel like we've taken a giant step back when every fictional female character who isn't feminine acting and looking at all times is declared trans or non-binary by fandom. Women have to perform their gender stereotype to be considered women now? That's incredibly disappointing.

I didn't like The Girl Who Leapt Through Time. The protagonist was a huge dumbass, and the 'bittersweet' ending was just weird: Oh, I'm going to meet my time-travelling sweetheart again in the future... when he's still going to be 15 and I'll be years older... assuming I survive that apocalypse he mentioned... um?

I just don't read that much any more apart from internet things. Reading used to be my favorite thing, and most of my fandoms were always book fandoms. Some still are. But I just don't actually read long things that much anymore. My job involves a lot of reading, so now I'm more likely to watch something for fun than to read.

I've become completely obsessed with Cody Fern, ever since he was on American Horror Story. Usually my type is always older, so this is the first time I've had a serious crush on a guy younger than me. I feel a little weird about it, even though I know that is completely ridiculous. But he doesn't even look 31 without the long hair. I honestly had to double check to make sure because I didn't believe it the first time.

The whole Twitter drama with Sarah Dessen made me lose a lot of respect for her. I grew up with her books and my writing’s influenced by hers, so I’ve always admired her, but taking an article out of context and not doing anything about her hordes of fans harassing the author of the article really bothered me.
