Getting my hair washed at the hairdresser on Friday. It is really bad at this point. Still supposed to stay off the foot for two more weeks, but at least I'll be able to be taken some places once my hair no longer smells terrible.

Also getting a paycheck tomorrow. Well, mom is picking it up for me. But I haven't been paid in a while, and money is good. Will be able to pay off my credit card.

Not exactly looking forward to but hoping that the guy at uni whom I finally reached last week does the shit he's being paid to do. But I don't know what I'll do if he doesn't answer until, say, tomorrow or at the latest Thursday. Until then he had a week's time to do a simple but important thing I asked him to but I'm not sure if he "got my email" with the necessary data. He allegedly never got my first email to him (which I doubt because it was definitely sent and from an official uni account so it shouldn't have landed in the junk folder). But I also don't know if he's just taking a while or if he didn't get it and I'm not sure when to write to him again to ask about it without passing him off. Is a week enough?

The current use of "problematic" annoys me not because I disagree with the political ideas involved with how people use it, but just because I think it's a useful word to use in an analytical, non pejorative way to just say that something presents an unsolved, unclear problem or tension. And if people immediately assume the word is pejorative and political, that's impossible.

If you're really against incel culture, the only time you should ever call anybody an incel is when you're talking about a guy who identifies himself as one. You should not be using it as an insult for any guy you don't like, even if you think he acts like an "incel." It's really just a woke-looking new way of using "virgin" as an insult.

Nah. If a guy's acting like he's entitled to the vagina of his choice and the woman attached to that vagina is denying him his basic human rights by not granting him access, it's fair to call him an incel regardless of whether or not he explicitly self-identifies as one. Inceldom is a brand of virulent misogyny, not virginity.
