Maybe it exists and I just haven’t found it, but I want to see a version of Irene Adler that’s closer to the character and her story than the femme fatale I usually see.

Besides the Grenada Sherlock Holmes version, I can't think of any, either. It's depressing.

Versions of her that aren't femme fatale would be good, but technically no version can be considered closer to the original than another because in the original story she never appeared as a character and everything we know about her was a secondhand account of her actions. She didn't have a personality.
