I don't get comments like this. First of all: Several people have opinions about this fandom related topic and makes secrets about it. There is a gap between secrets getting submitted and when they get posted. And if you want different secrets so much, fucking make some already. Nobody is stopping you!

Multiple comments up-thread have made the case that the "trans community" has made criticizing Rowling the political agenda of the season. And if you want to talk about it here, awesome, break a fucking leg. But for fuck's shake shut down all this chicken-little catastrophizing that last week's twitter storm is a big fucking deal for the future of trans activism, much less LGBTQ communities who spent more time talking about who's hosting next month's social than a washed-up kidfic writer.

It's also interesting to point out that the continuing discussion tends to be brought up by people defending Rowling.

Whatever. I'd say that defending Rowling isn't a hill that radical feminism outside of f!s is all that interested in dying on either.
