(Anonymous) 2020-01-06 01:10 am (UTC)(link)I wiped things up a bit with paper towels, pulled out the floor mat, and put an old towel down to hopefully soak things up, but I can't see a way to actually clean this since scrubbing or water would just produce a lot of suds. I'm just going to have to let it dry and leave it. It didn't get on the seat and I wiped off what was on the door, so it's just the rear floor and I almost never have passengers in my car. It's an old car, anyway.
At least it was unscented detergent.
On top of everything, I'm still low on laundry detergent!

When i buy detergent, the guy at the Dollar General always tightens the lid down super-tight in case. Which is nice, except then I can barely open the damn thing.
Seems like most everyone is saying (online) to spray it down with warm water then use a carpet cleaning machine to suck it all up (several times if necessary). I guess you could use a wet-vac, too, if you had one.
