I want to know what she thought of Small Gods.

I told her it was my favorite, which is actually true. I think she hasn’t read anything but the Watch and the Moist von Lipwig books, but I’m not sure.

Just came here to ask this, LOL.

I doubt she'll read any of the more faith challenging one. She probably has a reference guide or website of 'approved' books she's allowed to read.

Yeah the things that sect of Christianity picks and chooses to have problems with (anything from certain books/authors to movies to video games to classical music) is something I never did understand, and I grew up surrounded by that.

Thanks for turning my comment into a secret, OP!

My best friend in high school was evangelical (unusual for my country) and read all kinds of faith-challenging books...and is still an evangelical. Not a particularly hateful one, but still part of a very hateful church.

...but what is she reading really? If witches are dangerous, than I guess the ones with Rincewind are bad as well? And the ones with Death? Is she only reading like 1/5 or 1/6 of his books...? What a weird game of pick and choose. This book not, because there are witches, and this book not, because there is something else, but this one is okay, because we have nothing against dwarves and there's only one dragon in it, anyway.... It sounds so bizzare (and I say it living in a Catholicism-crazy country). I wouldn't waste my time trying to convince this coworker of anything if such divisions make sense to her, but you do you.
