I was really only a fan of the original myself, I watched what I could of 02, but I never got into it as much as I did the first one. I haven't even seen tri yet, but no doubt I'll be annoyed to see 02's characters pushed to the side.

I liked 02 better than 01! So I'm glad to know this about tri.

Same. It also annoyed me that they briefly had the Digimon Kaiser show up too, if you're going to ignore Ken's existence all series don't drag his evil self into it just for drama.

I liked the 02 kids, so the way they were treated during Tri really irritated me and it made me really dislike Meiko (a character type I usually like) because Tri focused so much on her.

Yeah, I really liked the 02 characters, I still haven't seen tri because of this
