...This is a thing? Yeesh, I had no idea.
If they're really serious about it I imagine they'll take the changes like how Judaism grew to become Christianity, and from there Mormonism. Or like any religion they're just going to invent new sects and ignore what they don't like.

There's a hilarious line in The Book Of Mormon where Elder Cunningham is trying to convert people by saying there's a part three to the story (the first two being Jewish and then Christian) and likens it to Return Of The Jedi.

Yeah, you can have Jedi or Druid put on your dogtags in the military. IDK what a chaplain actually does when they encounter that in the field, but it's allowed.

I understand what you're trying to say, but that's a really offensive way of putting it. Judaism hasn't grown into or become anything. It's still here, as an important living religion practiced by many people, including me. Christianity branched off from Judaism, but that's a different thing. There is a strain of Christian thought that really does believe that Judaism itself is only a forerunner to Christianity, and you'll still find people saying that in all seriousness, which is why I can't just let it pass without saying something.
