That's so cool of you to support your sister!
And you've already worked super hard at improving your fitness and showed a lot of determination by doing the couch to 5k, so you should have no problems working up to a half marathon!

I know you didn't specifically ask for advice, so feel free to ignore this if it isn't of any interest/use to you, but DareBee have a program for building up to running a half marathon (as well as lots of other free fitness programs)

Thank you - my sister suffered from sepsis after her first pregnancy and still struggled with elements of post-sepsis syndrome even during her pregnancy with her second so I think it's important to her to feel normal again. She loves her kids obviously but being a mum isn't all she wants to be so when she said she wanted to do this course again (it's one of her favourites) but wasn't keen on being alone I knew I had to be the big sister I sometimes failed to be when we were younger.

I know I didn't ask for advice but I honestly very much appreciate it! Trying to maintain this level of fitness is a big deal for me and I'll take all the help I can get. Thank you for the link to a training program. I've got to work out a time frame because I don't want to go all out too early but I need to work up to it now we're in 2020. I'm aiming to make a serious half marathon training effort with at least 12 weeks to go until race day, but building some of my strength now isn't a bad thing!
