Gee I don't know but Harry wearing that Nazi costume still stings a bit and Meghan being a total brat about following royal etiquette even though she knew what she was signing on for. Not to mention that they are hypocrites about claiming to be "green" but spent all last year flying around in a private jet.

Harry wearing that Nazi costume

Whoa, what? Man, I do not keep up enough on this stuff. When/where did this happen? That's... pretty bad, and I can't imagine there's a good excuse for it.

This was around 2005, I think? So he was about 20.

Lol calling a woman in her late thirties a brat, someone thinks this is actual protocol,an
Bout wearing dark nail polish around Elizabeth Mountbatten-Windsor.

Megan’s biggest fault is not being as lazy as work shy will and keen as kate.

Are you serious? Also there is no age limit on brattery. None. Look at Charlie Sheen

Completely agree, OP. This is definitely one of the things that made me dislike them. There are record numbers of kids in poverty in the UK atm and they chose to make a documentary about how bad their lives are? Boo-fucking-Hoo. Not to mention all the people globally who will suffer because of climate change but they've decided on this new life which involves traipsing back and forth over the Atlantic in planes. For fucks sake. The self-pity and hypocrisy is truly stunning.

I was really rooting for them both as a breath of fresh air, but pah. Their breath of fresh air is just the same arrogant selfish lipservice hypocrisy of the Hollywood elite. But at the taxpayers cost. Fuck 'em.

I don't love the royals and I think that all monarchies should be abolished, but I can also understand how even in their position it would be quite frustrating to have the press constantly making up hyperbolic lies about you.

(Anonymous) 2020-01-13 06:26 pm (UTC)(link)
So can I for sure. Does it excuse everything else about their hypocrisy? No.

(Anonymous) 2020-01-14 04:35 pm (UTC)(link)
Yeah, the British press is notoriously vile, but it's hilarious to see Harry calling out racism when it affects the people he loves but brushing it under the rug when it's his own. I doubt he calls out his granddad's prejudices with such passion, somehow.

Their wedding having the 'clear the streets of homeless people' memo didn't put them in the best light, either. Or the fact they're claiming to desire financial independence but waited until the six month renovations funded by the taxpayers were done on their house.
