Kt depends on the pairing. With some, I'll read with either as dom or sub. Steve/Bucky is that way for me. Same with Doctor/Master-Missy.

But with some, I have clear preferences. Like with Spike/Buffy, Spike/Angel, and Spike/Buffy/Angel, Spike is always submissive in my mind. Can't see him as anything but. And with Kylo/Hux, Kylo is a submissive who tires to be dominant and Hux is very much a dominant who gets off on control. Can't see them any other way.

When I used to be in the Supernatural fandom and OTPing Dean/Cas, I always read it with Cas as dominant and Dean as sub.
