Fair point, though I believe that Lennie loves George in the book--whether platonically or romantically-- and because George knows how to deal with Lennie, this problem is avoidable.

Haha, yes. Considering I very much see those two as being largely incapable of finding happiness due to fate and whatnot, them finding it in each others arms... especially considering the circumstances, jus' strike me as too unlikely. But hell, if all agreed the fandoms would not be half as interesting as they are!

I'd only shipped het pairings in Castlevania before (Alucard/Maria, Leon/Sara, Soma/Mina), but now I feel like I need to get into some slash just to irk the OP. Let's see.. oh, I got it! Leon/Joachim! Mmmmm.

That's him. Let's be blunt here - I picked him just for the sex appeal. I mean, I'm just making up a slash pairing to theoretically annoy someone, so I may as well go for the pretty, yeah?

That you may, that you may indeed. Although really, if one's just aiming for pretty, Castlevania has that in SPADES no matter where you go. Portrait of Ruin excepted of course... pity really. I mean, I like that the style gave them more expressions than ETERNALLY SEDUCTIVELY OR SERENELY SMILING MARBLESTATUE PRETTY BOY/GIRL but... it was quite jarring watching the change in action, that I cannot deny. As much as I like different expressions, I do welcome the change brought with Order of Ecclessia ,which I haven't played yet so no spoilers please. All I know is that there is not only a pretty maincharacter, but one who IS actualle female as well as looking like it!

Oh man, I thought I was alone! I love anime art and all, and yes, the expressiveness was very nice, but losing the tone that Kojima's art set broke my heart. I haven't played Curse of Darkness yet (or Order of Ecclessia, so I'm avoiding spoilers too), though I plan to soon, and I'm looking forward to seeing that style again. On the other hand, I hear OoE is awesome, and really, the art isn't the main attraction for me, so I'm psyched for some great gameplay from that. :D
