Fair point, though I believe that Lennie loves George in the book--whether platonically or romantically-- and because George knows how to deal with Lennie, this problem is avoidable.

But I can see and understand your opinion. To each their own! :)

Haha, yes. Considering I very much see those two as being largely incapable of finding happiness due to fate and whatnot, them finding it in each others arms... especially considering the circumstances, jus' strike me as too unlikely. But hell, if all agreed the fandoms would not be half as interesting as they are!
