It will be like with the Ebola outbreak where people were harassing people who went anywhere in Africa.

NAYRT—I can understand panicking about Ebola, since without a vaccine it kills around half the people infected with it. But yeah, Africa’s a fucking huge continent so unless travelers were somewhere with an active outbreak, or on a plane with someone who was, the risk of infection wasn’t that high.

I would actually go the other way and argue that the coronavirus is more worrying (neither is worth panicking over, obviously) because it's way, way, way more contagious than Ebola.

Even if travelers were somewhere with an active outbreak, they'd have to be in significant direct contact with an infected person's bodily fluids in order to have any risk of catching the disease. Ebola isn't airborne.

Ebola is more deadly, but harder to contract. You need to have direct contact with bodily fluids. Coronavirus apparently spreads like the cold and the flu, which means you could get it from standing close to someone. I would be more scared if I contracted Ebola rather than Coronavirus, but am more concerned about Coronavirus spreading to the point that I could contract it than I was of Ebola spreading to the point that I could contracting it.
