Just work and a couple errands, nothing too exciting.

I'm about to head to bed in a few minutes. I haven't gotten nearly enough sleep the past few days and am super tired. :(

I'm finally feeling better after being sick for nearly two weeks, so I'm doing the mountain of laundry that's accumulated since, including all the bedding and quilts that were on my bed. It will be nice to sleep in clean, fresh sheets and pajamas this evening. Watching The Masked Singer later on and getting to bed early, working tomorrow and I want to be well rested. I'm off work Friday.

I'm glad you are feeling better. Being sick sucks, and being sick for that long really sucks. Hope you enjoy your evening and get a nice night of restful sleep.

Watching Murdoch Mysteries! I'm a few episodes back, but I'm loving it. (aside from Watts, he sucks)

Had to file something at court his morning and then pop over to the office for a couple hours. Then went to the grocery store to pick up milk for my dad and ramen for me. Been taking it easy and watching youtube vids for the rest of the day because I really don't feel good on account of both hormones and the cold I caught from my mother. Was supposed to go to a meeting this evening, but I skipped.

Wednesday is my busiest day at work. So did most of that. Ate some delicious salsa for dinner. Trying to work on my rep now.

Yup. Fandom is certainly a lot healthier than other escapism methods I could be using.

Sunflowers are my favorite flowers. I got my own little small plot in my mother's garden as a kid, and sunflowers are what I picked to grow in there.

Lilies, succulents, cacti, trees that offer great shade.

But mostly plants that I couldn't possibly kill.

Not OP, but, secrets to keeping plants alive? I like, side-eye a plant and it dies.

Tree: Fern-leaved beech
Shrub: David Austen roses
Perennial: Probably hostas
Bulb: Black sarana
Climber: Flame nasturtium
Succulent/cactus: Dunno. I'm not big on those. Welkswitchia, perhaps, if they count?

Violets and roses are edible, but I just love them for their smell. Also some daffodils, like Chinese sacred lily, and other bulbs, like lily of the valley and Roman hyacinth, and actual lilies like the regal lily, none of which are edible.

A Note To Secret-Makers

I recently submitted a “secret I’m too lazy to make” about Taylor Swift’s weight gain over the past couple of years. In light of the ED stuff Taylor just revealed in Miss Americana, I’d like to ask secret makers not to make that secret, if they haven’t already. Not because of the response the secret will get, but because I just feel too bad about the content of the secret.

If you’ve already submitted it, that’s ok, I understand. But if you haven’t submitted it, I’d rather you didn’t.

If anybody else has anything (constructive) they want to say to secret-makers, feel free to piggyback on this post.
