OP here, super late today. I need to talk about how menacing Charlotte Rampling is even when she's trying to be nice. Good lord. I was like DON'T GO INTO THE CREEPY MANSION, DANNY!!! and there's so much that wasn't ever answered to my satisfaction.

I also need to have a good cry because Alex lied when he said he wouldn't contact Danny again. I don't know if it was the tragedy of the thing but I wanted him to be alive so they could run away together and subvert the gay tragedy trope.

The casting was so good though.
