Oh, no I wasn't trying to answer the question - I was agreeing with her in a really smart-assy kind of way. I don't get the adoration for cold, hard, 107 year old men who sparkle in the sunlight either.

I haven't read any of the books (nor find men/boys attractive), but from what I've read of posts mocking the books one of the main attractions is that he's willing to fight against his very nature for the sake of the one he loves.
