123 - Why are you trying to make this sound like it isn't a response to ONE secret that was posted months ago? I think enough people made this point then. I'm sure the OP gets it by now.

There have been countless "I don't know what this means" secrets in the past, for BNF, OTP, all kinds of random fandom/net-speak. tl;dr is just an example.

I've only ever seen one that specifically said "I don't know what tl;dr means but won't ask because I've been in fandom for a long time and would be embarrassed to admit I don't know."

It seems like the OP is referring to that.

I honestly think it was just an example. There have been a bunch of secrets like that, including more than one about tl;dr or "teal deer" *shrug* Then again, I don't know how long ago they were posted, because months ago I did a massive "look at old posts" thing on F!S and saw hundreds of month+ old secrets. I do remember seeing one for BNF though, because that prompted me to find out what it meant too.
