And my Little Woman secret is that I hate Amy. Her burning Jo's book ruins her for me. There hasn't been a version of the story that has been able to redeem her in my eyes.

DA Same here. Even more so since I started writing. And Amy doesn't do anything redemptive as far as I can remember.

Newest version of Amy is weird for me. Everyone raved about the performance, but outside the one powerhouse speech she gives that everyone like bring up, the character fails to convince me in anything that she does. Casting the same actress to play young Amy makes the burning of Jo's book seem even more vindictive and less like something you can write off as a childish act since, you know, a grown woman is visibly committing the act. It was all over the place.
