Ugh. Cat litter was supposed to be delivered today but noooo UPS decided that rather than leave it by my door like they do every other time now I have to go pick it up.

And. Like. I don't drive. And it's like 20kg of cat litter. And I've got a bad shoulder.

So fuck you very much UPS driver.

I am sorry to hear but I did want to say, realizing I could ORDER CAT LITTER TO MY HOME has been completely life-changing.

It's SO GOOD when it gets delivered the way it's supposed to be! I get my cat's food delivered too and it's just so nice and easy and makes sure that she's always got her needs taken care of even when I'm flattened by depression (I'm clinically diagnosed) or when the weather is nasty and I'm willing to do without groceries for a day or two.

But I'm super salty af that now I have to figure out how to get this home. I'm probably going to see if they can stick a note all 'customer is willing to take the risk of cat litter being stolen; just leave it at door' or something for future deliveries.

Omg, if they've left it before, why not now? That's just dumb. I'd totally play up the shoulder injury/issue and be really pathetic and saaaaaaaaaaaaad and tell them you need it delivered, see if they'll do it. Yeesh.
Good luck!

Ugh, this happens with me and Canada Post. They don't even ring the doorbell or bring up the package. I've seen them literally run away from my door, no box in hand, into their truck and drive away. They just leave the little 'pick up x time on x day', and that's that.

We had that issue with 2 boxes of 25 kg bird food recently- I am pretty sure the delivery driver didn't manage to finish their route and just dropped off what was left on their car at the local post office because we didn't even get a note in the mailbox. That was a huge hassle.

I am trying to imagine your set-up, that you need 50kg of bird food. Sorry, not meaning to be intrusive - just mightily intrigued!

Ha! Fair enough - it's actually winter feed for outdoor birds XD We had to order another 25 kg bag of sunflower seeds just now because they already ate it all, hungry little buggers. I'm very interested to see if we'll get it delivered this time or have to go pick it up at the post office again...
