Because I am an oddling, I decided to check this 'paradisa' out and see what the wank was about. (Also, being a huge fan of most of those canons mentioned)

I didn't understand the big deal. First I checked the Lois' posts on the main community (using the tag system, thnx paradisa~) and she seemed pretty Lois-y to me. All about the facts, a truth-seeker, and a journalist at heart. Her relationship with Clark seems well-played, and I like how she is not caring what other characters have to say about her sharing the truth. That's the Lois I know.

Then I checked Gatts, fearing what I'd see. There are so many ways you can go wrong with him-making him too tragic or perfect, or too silent. Judging by their icons and their interaction with Griffith, and the comments in the page before, if it is Black Swordsman Gatts I see no problem with the way he is behaving. Before the Branded Sacrifice, I would imagine him to be much softer and kinder, but still an asshole.

The interaction with the Griffith is actually interesting (who is that griffith, btw? I love the way both of them interact~), since he seems reluctant to try and have things be normal again and, apparently, snapped and killed him. That uh. Seems pretty IC to me. Gatts has mixed feelings on Griffith (see; chapter of hill of swords, griffith's rebirth, sir owen asking him about griffith, schierke spotting griffith in his subconscious), and these two players act it out splendidly, not overdoing the friendship thing, keeping any slashy jokes very light-hearted and for obvious humour, and the Gatts is actually amusing. His fights with Ino have kept me up all night, reading. I'm tempted to join, but if it has this drama then nvm~

The Dilan is OOC? From what I have seen he is rather kind and dutiful, and outside of Xaldin there is not much canon to build off of. Dilan is pretty much open for interpretation. I ask you, OP, do you know your canon, well? So far the three characters I have defended certainly do.

The Vincent has done nothing OOC. Nor has the Brite or the Shampoo. Why is there any attacking of Toph or Yui? From what I checked on the tags, they post very little and do not have much interaction (yet I find them to be IC). Which Cloud do you mean, OP? And the Gatts has only had, what, four entries? All I see in them is his loud, angry self; and Gatts (post-eclipse) is very impatient with people and weak will.

What has the Yuugi done wrong? Or the Lucien?

Hm, the only characters I noticed that were off..., well, all but one or two are not on that list. Perhaps you need to reconsider your own canon interpretations, as these people are hardly not 'deserving'. I honestly expected to see something worse, but was pretty impressed with Dilan/Lois/Gatts.

Then again, I do not know everyone's prices :) Except the ones that have been named in these comments -has nothing better to do than to read them all-

You seem like a pretty big whiner, OP. This is just from an outsider view, of course. I wonder what character(s) you play? I'm sure they were probably the ones I was snickering at.

I agree with this whole post, and as a player at Paradisa I strongly suspect that I know who the OP is. Which makes it all the more funny, since, if it is them (and I'm pretty sure it is), well, I kind of hate the way they RP their character.

I have a strong suspicion of who it is, too. I don't want to assume, but...the writing and the particular rant...sounds like something they said recently. And this person whines a lot. The sad thing is I kind of am their pretend-friend. Ahem.

Also, um. Jumping on the 'defend the character' bandwagon... Is it just me or hasn't Lois with her newspaper stuff and Gatts with the craziness kind of..livened up Paradisa and made it not all about the same posts over and over again? Not only are those two IC, but they've done a lot for the plot.

I'm pretty sure they meant KH!Cloud, but I'm not certain so don't take that to heart. I like both Clouds, personally. This person is just lame. And I'm a bad friend for wanting to out them, but I might just ignore it and pretend I have no idea that they are behind it since I'm a coward like that. Hahah, with my anonymousness.

No one should be angry that their characters appeared on there, though. This person is....yeah. Not God.

Also, to the Lois-mun: I had no idea you were the player of all three of those characters. I hope you didn't take it personally, because you play them well.

The Griffith!! I love the way you play him, dearie. All curious and his writing is all pretty and Griffith-y. It is wonderful. And, despite my eternal burning love for G/G in Berserk, I am tempted to either play Sonia or Slan to try and interfere with it all.

You and the Gatts player are love. I feared reading G/G interaction would be like reading a bad fanfic, but you two make it complex and also wonderfully entertaining at once.

Did I mention that I was totally crushing on your Griffith while reading through entries?

*_* i'm so flattered, seriously. at first i was nervous about doing him proper justice, since he's one of the most amazingly written manga characters ever. that's me being biased, obviously. i was kind of hoping nobody had read berserk when i went into the game so nobody could call me out on butchering him, since i've never had a chance to play him before. but i'm infinitely glad i have the approval of those who have read it.

you really should apply as either! ♥ we're supposed to be getting quite a few more berserk characters once applications open in a couple days. i encourage it. sorry you had to be introduced to the game through wank, but i think it speaks highly of our community that we haven't turned to flaming and attacking each other. it's a lot of fun, coming from someone with a short attention span for boring games.

Honestly? This is the first bit of "drama" that we've had, and I think it kind of Broad-sided up like a 2x4. Seriously. The whole lot of us have made an anti-hate campaign in retaliation.

Seriously though, I love you for taking the time to look at it and make your own opinion, that's really commendable.

I agree with Jill; it's all the more impressive you took the time to form your own opinions by researching on the comm itself.

...And Gatts and Griffith are awesome. I'm biased, however, so the opinion is very much opinion. =)

And I keep saying this, but... Lois is hard for me to play. If I'm doing her wrong, I need to be told; and I thank those of you who say I'm pulling her off respectably (I hope).

.... yay! 8D THANK YOU. there ISN'T canon to build off outside Xaldin! so it's mad improvisation. that's just how it is. And I know a lot of people expect Dilan to be Xaldin lite, and I'm sorry, that just doesn't work for me. He's a character that deserves a more complex background.

but honestly? yeah. this is the first drama I've spotted and it hasn't actually affected the comm that much? it's worried and upset a few people but far as I've seen it's just made a lot of them more determined to carry on as they were. XD honestly this has all been vaguely amusing to me though I'm sad that some people were hurt over it. :( uncool.
