Curious!

I'd say about three pounds per day.

a woodchuck would chuck no amount of wood since a woodchuck can't chuck wood

A woodchuck would chuck as much wood as a wood chuck could chuck, if a woodchuck could chuck wood. But if I were estimating I'd say a little less than a peck of pickled peppers in volume and more than the number of seashells Sally sells by the seashore, maybe enough to cover the slitted sheet on which I sit.

As a kid, I always thought "to chuck wood" in the context of this tongue-twister meant to eat wood somehow. Maybe I was thinking of the use of the word "chuck" to mean "food" in other contexts, like "chuck wagon." It wasn't until the Geico woodchuck commercials that I was forced to consider that I knew perfectly well that the verb "to chuck" means "to throw."
