One thing that bothered me about Wifey was one character in the book is extremely racist and only one other character attempts to call her on her bullshit, and it's a single, very half-assed attempt.

Summer Sisters and Wifey are Judy Blume’s worst books. Actually, I don’t think I’ve liked any of her books that are meant for older readers. Forever was pretty bad too.
