I didn't like the dub, but I still watched it and really hated that they didn't finish dubbing the show.

While I’m not pissed about the Timeless Child reveal (though I feel it would’ve made more sense for there to be more than one child and for the Master to be one of them), I get being pissed at Chibnall enough to pretend it didn’t happen. Moffat did a lot of things that pissed me off and I’ve pretended away all those plot developments.

I don't mind if it happens and then the show makes clear that while it might be a "natural reaction" it is actually hindering the investigation and not helping things and in the father example you use just plain wrong. What gets me is when shows/movies go out of their way to justify this type of behavior and act like it is the only natural way for a parent to react and totally the right way to react and if the parent(s) make catching the perpetrator harder, oh well.
