(Anonymous) 2020-03-25 05:53 am (UTC)(link)The closest any of them come to saying it "taught" them anything is to say they were failed because nobody did teach them this basic lesson as a child and it was nice to see a children's show remind them that it's valid for it to resonate with them. An example would be the episode about Sadie's mom being overbearing and pressuring her to do extracurricular activities she wasn't comfortable with. A lot of people grew up being told that their parents are always doing what's best for them and to feel like they're letting their parents down if they ever say "no." Which, actually, is a still a rather new concept to explore on kids' TV.

(Anonymous) 2020-03-25 08:31 am (UTC)(link)It's a neat little show that teaches kids about inclusion and that it's okay to feel bad sometimes and can also be enjoyed by adults if they want to. Just skip it if you are not, jeez.
