... I mean, you're just wrong if you think there's no "black people" outside of the US. I lived in London for years. Yes, yes there is. Frankly, you sound white.

I’m American and so white I look like something that lives under rocks, and I was gonna say, I can totally see parts of the UK having high numbers of African immigrants from various countries, who identify as immigrants from wherever. But just because the British empire outlawed slavery before the US doesn’t mean there aren’t black people in the UK now who are descended from slaves and have no fucking clue where their ancestors were from, right? Or am I missing something?
