Re: Any fandom regrets?

A billion years ago when I was first getting into online fandom, I read fanfic on the unmoderated wasteland that was Quizilla.
I was 11, and I read some of the weirdest, most startlingly fucked-up porn I've ever seen on that site.

So. Many. Regrets.

RA

Are you me?

Oh God, unmoderated wasteland is the perfect description. Although my regret is not saving those fics to rewrite later. They were so fucking awful, I read them again a few years after the first time and I'm amazed that I managed to get through such poorly written mess. I felt like I was reading a completely different story.

Bonus points for all the midi music tracks in the background. I do hope the author was alright, all of her stories featured some kind of abuse :(((

What a fucking mess though...lol

Oh god same here, only it was Adultfanfiction when I was about 11-12 years old. Someone linked their fic through an X-men Evolution fan-forum and... there was so much messed up stuff there that preteen me just willingly chose to read.
There's too many memories of messed up Yu-Gi-Oh! fics that I can still remember 20 years on.
